1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, signing in to, or creating an account on The Gaffer's Ledger, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use or access the service.

2. Age Eligibility

This application is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, you are not permitted to register an account or submit personal information. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Rules & Anti-Cheating

To maintain fair competition for all managers across daily games, live auction rooms, and fantasy mini-leagues:

• Each physical person is permitted to operate only one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate auction bids, rig mini-league scoring, or farm coin rewards is strictly prohibited.
• The use of automated bots, scraping scripts, memory injection, or exploitative software to interact with the service is banned.
• Collusion in live auction rooms (e.g. price-fixing, deliberate dummy bidding, or bid-rigging) will result in immediate disqualification.

4. Live Auction Room & Community Decorum

When participating in public or private live auction rooms, custom mini-leagues, or global leaderboards:

• Display handles and usernames must remain respectful. Usernames containing hate speech, slurs, explicit content, or harassment will be removed.
• Managers are expected to act in good faith during real-time auctions and multiplayer interactions.

5. Service Availability & Disclaimer of Liability

The Gaffer's Ledgeris provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators and operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

6. Indemnification & Account Termination

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operators of The Gaffer's Ledger against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the application or violation of these terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without prior notice.
